I am a Postoctoral Research Assistant at Technische Universität Berlin. My research is in algebraic and tropical geometry. Specifically I use tropical techniques to study algebraic varieties, especially Grassmannians, their generalizations to other Lie-types, curves, and moduli spaces. My research also meets the following areas: graphs, matroids, polytopes, and surface topology. Previously, I was a Van Vleck Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and I received my Ph.D. at Yale University.
