Joker is my male CB Silver Tinsel, won via the redraw in DC's 2014-15 Holiday raffle. He was named after Batman's "greatest enemy". ;)
He does have a breeding list and it is currently CLOSED. When it opens up again, it will say "open" here and on my forum signature.
There will be no more than four slots available on Joker's main breeding list at any given time. Typically, it will consist of three requests, with the last slot being reserved for my personal use, although sometimes I may forfeit my slot for a 4th request. The only way to get on this list if it happens to be closed is if you were to offer me a CB breedable dragon with "MUSE", "Matt", "Kali", "Sadi", or "Thor" (caps can vary) in its code, or a 2nd gen Holly from male Terrae/Royal Blue x female Holly. Otherwise, if the list is closed, I won't accept any additional breeding requests until at least one of the requests on the current list has been completed. However, I may choose to keep the list closed to new requests even when slots free up. If I do that, it is likely because I would like to concentrate on completing the remaining requests that are still open, especially if they are proving difficult to breed.
Second gen non-Tinsel "fail" eggs will usually be either gifted or traded. If you'd like to adopt a 2nd gen fail egg for free and breed doesn't matter to you, simply PM me and ask to be added to the random fail adoption list. At some point, I will surprise you with a random egg! And yes, unless stated otherwise, you may contact me about random fail adoption at any time - even if his main Tinsel list is closed. Please understand too, the wait for a random fail egg could be long, depending on how many people are waiting to adopt. Also, if you do adopt a Joker fail, I assume it is because you actually want the egg. I don't mind if you re-gift it to a friend (letting me know first would be appreciated), but they should not to be used for trading purposes. I could easily trade the egg to benefit myself, but I'm kindly gifting it to you... so please respect that.
Now, if you are in need of a specific breed of fail egg from Joker, such requests are treated the same way as 2nd gen Tinsel requests. That means they take up a slot on his main breeding list. So if Joker's Tinsel list is closed, it is also closed to specific fail requests. If you need a specific fail egg bred, please contact me when Joker's list is open again to set up a trade. Only random breed fails are available for free adoption.
If you have a spot on Joker's breeding list, here are some things you should know:
1. Breeds currently unavailable as mates for 2nd gen Tinsel requests: Cavern Lurker, Red Dorsal, Black, Fever, Seragamma, BBW, Blacktip, Sunrise, Golden Wyvern, Magma, Frostbite, Brute, Plated Colossus, Brown Copper, Imperial Fleshcrowne, Ember, Balloon, Horse, Royal Crimson, Coastal Waverunner, Bolt, Almerald, Aria, Frill, Earth, Deep Sea, Waterhorse, Kingcrowne, Striped-River, Aether, Astaarus, Tercorn, Obidar, Oracle, and Elux Lucis. Most of these breeds will become available for requests in the future, but not until after I have bred the first Tinsel from them. 2nd gen fail eggs can still be requested from these breeds (if non-holiday) at any time though. Please note, I do have the right to deny a specific mate request for any reason, but generally speaking, any other CB breeds I own - besides these atm - should be available to choose as mates for Tinsel requests.
2. If you are paying your end of the trade with caught eggs like CB metals, for example, I will not be able to start breeding Joker for you until at least part of your IOU has been delivered to me. If we are doing a 2nd gen Prize swap, I will begin breeding when you do.
3. In order to make it more fair to everyone waiting on his list, breeding attempts will rotate every week, so that everyone gets at least one breeding attempt per month. Week one I will breed for the first person on the list, the next week I will breed for the second person, the next will be for the third, etc. and it will continue like that on a cyclical schedule until I have produced Tinsel eggs for everyone waiting. Ideally, as requests are fulfilled, you will move up on the list and potentially get additional breeding attempts per month, as I usually don't like to add additional Tinsel requests to the main list until all four current requests have been fulfilled.
4. Please keep in mind that the wait for a 2nd gen Tinsel may be long, especially depending on your choice of mate. I have been actively playing DC since 2008, and I take my IOUs very seriously. I breed all my IOUs every week, like clockwork. You have my word that I will get your Tinsel egg to you as soon as I possibly can. It could take months, but I do stick with my IOUs no matter how long they take (and I've had some that have taken more than a year to complete). Should I ever need to take a controlled leave of absence from the game, everyone on Joker's waiting list will be notified beforehand. I do take breaks from all IOU breeding during Holiday events though, so please expect that.
5. Once your Tinsel or specific fail request is produced, you have approximately 72 hours to pick up that egg from the time I PM you with a teleport link. If not picked up before hatching, I will either keep the hatchling myself or trade/gift it. You will also be removed from the main list and a new request may take over your former breeding slot. Should you want to get back on Joker's breeding list, you'd have to wait until a spot opens up again before you would be re-added (although if anyone is waiting ahead of you to get on Joker's list, they will receive priority). Random fail eggs will either be put up for trade or gifted to the next person on the fail list if not picked up after 24 hours. If the random fail adoption list is particularly long however, I will likely just give out the teleport link to everybody on the list, and the first person to click the link gets the egg.
6. Sorry, I do not offer free replacement eggs should your Joker baby gender wrong or refuse its intended mate. Remember to use your BSAs! Influence your egg right away, and always use Fertility on your first breeding attempt with a new mate. If you forget and get a refusal, or if your baby genders wrong, a new trade would have to be agreed upon to get on Joker's list again.
