Build Your Circles
The most important and useful part of Google+ is Circles. Circles allow you to categorize your friends, family, and everyone else, in the most appropriate ways.
Why set up circles?
•Organization: As you connect with more and more people on Google Plus, it is nice to be able to remember how you connected with them.
•Ease of Browsing: If you want to find recipes that are being shared, you can easily choose to look at just the updates from your “Food Bloggers” circle.
•Targeted Sharing: You don’t want to share vacation photos with
your business contacts. Having your personal friends in a circle
together makes it easy to ensure you can share your vacation photos
with only those you want to see them.
To Create a Circle:
In the Navigation menu, click or touch People.
Click or touch Following.
Click or touch NEW CIRCLE.
Name your circle, then click or touch CREATE.
Add or remove someone from a circle
When you follow someone, they are put in your "Following" circle by default. To add someone to your "Following" circle, follow that person.
To add someone to a different circle:
Open the profile of the person you want to move to another circle.
Click or touch the name of the circle that they're in, or the checkmark next to their name.
Use the menu to add them to a different circle.
Click or touch DONE.
To remove someone from a circle:
Open the profile of the person you want to move to another circle.
Click or touch the name of the circle that they're in.
In the menu that appears, uncheck a circle to remove them from that circle.
Click or touch DONE.
