About me
I am working as a Postdoctoral researcher with Professor Ivan Viola in the Nanovisualization Research Group, at Visual Computing Center, KAUST - King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Saudi Arabia.
Previously, I worked an Assistant Professor at IT Department, The University of Haripur, Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan (Sep-2020 to March 2022) . Before that, I worked as an Assistant Professor with Professor Hirokazu Kato (the inventor of ARToolKit), at IMD-Interactive Media Design Lab, Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Japan, [Dec 2018--Aug 2022] .
I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the the National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition(NLPR), Institute of Automation, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), Beijing China, in 2018. During my PhD, I worked under the guidance of Professor Xiaopeng Zhang and Professor Dong-Ming Yan. I was awarded with the 2018-Excellent International Graduates Award of UCAS. Prior to that, I received my BS and MS degrees from University of Malakand Pakistan, in 2011 and 2014, respectively.
My research interests encompass a wide range of topics, including Computer Graphics, Visualization, Computational Geometry, Mesh Processing, Image Processing, 3D Reconstruction, Computer Vision, Virtual Reality, and Technology-Enhanced Learning.
** I am actively seeking a faculty position in Computer Science.
