I am currently a Scientific Officer specializing in Energy Security and Markets at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre in the Netherlands. From 2017 to 2022, I served as an Assistant Professor at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech) in Moscow. Before joining Skoltech, I held Postdoctoral Fellow positions at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro.

My research interests encompass power and energy systems, operations research, uncertainty, game theory, electricity markets, and optimization and flexibility challenges in modern power systems. The primary motivation behind my research activities is to bridge the gap between science and policy design, while addressing the complexities and challenges presented by future sustainable energy systems.
