I write about the life (and death) of the poet, Dylan Thomas. Apart from my blogs, my most recent publications include three essays:

1. Under Milk Wood: A Play for Ears. Some Reflections on T. Rowland Hughes, Philip Burton and Dylan Thomas in the New Welsh Review, May 2020.

It's also online at  https://sites.google.com/site/dylanthomasandnewquay/under-milk-wood-a-play-for-ears

2.  A True Childhood: Dylan's Peninsularity

3.  A Postcard from New Quay

The last two are both in Dylan Thomas: A Centenary Celebration, ed. by Hannah Ellis (Bloomsbury 2014).

Extended versions of these two essays, with notes, family trees, maps and photos, are also published online at:

I've also published a web account of Dylan Thomas' time in South Leigh, Oxfordshire, from August 1947 to May 1949, as well as two essays about Caitlin's literary relatives, the Majoliers. Please go to  Dylan Websites to read them.
