I graduated cum laude from LUISS Guido Carli University with major in Corporate Finance (2007). I obtained an MSc in Finance from Bangor University graduating with distinction (2009) and a PhD in Finance (2013) from the ICMA Centre, University of Reading. I worked for one year as a consultant for the Italian branches of international clients such as GE Capital Solutions and Takeda Pharmaceutical Company in the area of finance and internal auditing. I also advised Italian cooperative banks in the creation of their business plans and acted as a research assistant for the Banking course at LUISS University. I worked as a lecturer at Swansea University and Cardiff University. I am currently a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the University of Liverpool and a Collaborator at the Financial Mathematics and Computation Cluster (FMC²).

My main research interests include financial markets and risk management.
