I'm getting really fed up with Dave's ices noise nuisance.
He comes around most evenings and ruins my evening with his moronic tune blasting out.
It's the best time of the day when I should be able to go out in my garden and get a bit of peace and quiet.
Instead I am severely stressed by his repeated noise.
Not only is Dave's ices committing a criminal offence under the 1980 noise pollution act but this would also be an offence of antisocial behaviour (ASB) and harassment.
So I thought I would try calling the police emergency number on 112 but was told it was not a life or death situation and to call 101. Which I did but they have an idiot automated answering machine on 101 and I never got to talk to a human being. I did not know how it was costing me to wait holding on for an answer and eventually gave up.
You can call 112. I would have thought phoning 112 to try and get some action on Dave's ices would be OK as it is phoning in a crime in action.
101 costs 15 pence total regardless of which phone you use, land line or mobile for any length of time.
You might get an extra 15 pence charge from non Vodafone mobiles.
There is a direct number for 101 you can use that might be included in your free allowance.
