How do I subscribe, unsubscribe, or change the address at which I receive this mailing?

Why should I subscribe to the list when I can see it on your web site every week? ...or... Why should I come back to this site if I receive the list in my email every week?

The email list and the web site each have their advantages. I recommend that you use both versions, thereby getting full benefit from each. But if you prefer to use only one, use whichever option works best for you. Both are completely free of charge.

When is the best time to check this site for updates?

I try to update the lists of celebrities we have lost as soon as I hear new information. Generally, I update this week's list and next week's preview on Friday. Sometimes, depending upon my schedule, these updates might occur somewhat earlier or later.

There are strange characters on your web page where quotation marks should be. Why is that and how do I get rid of them?

If you have an older web browser, some quotes may appear as 'strange' characters. The best advice I can offer is to update your browser. In general it is always best to use the most up to date browsers anyway.

If I subscribe to your list, what can I expect to receive?

Initially, you will receive a message confirming your subscription. Then, once a week you will receive the list of celebrity birthdays for the coming week. Each list runs Saturday through Friday. Although I strive to keep my information as up to date as possible, this list is intended for entertainment purposes only. It may be inaccurate at times. Some of my sources include newspapers, books, television and radio shows, web sites, and subscriber feedback. So if you notice an error, use this form to let me know.

I am concerned that, by subscribing to your list, I will receive a lot of unwanted spam. Should I worry about this?

I have subscribed to your list but have not received a confirmation. Have you received my request?

When you subscribe, you will receive a confirmation message from me. However, since these messages are sent manually, sometimes it may take several days for me to see your request and respond. In the unlikely event that it has been more than five days since you sent your request, and you have not yet received a confirmation, please use this form to resend it. Be sure to follow all directions on the form carefully to submit your request. Note: Sometimes confirmations are delayed by holidays.

OK, I received the confirmation. When can I expect my first celebrity birthday list?

This list is mailed once a week, usually sometime on Friday. Generally, if you subscribe by 5:00am on Friday (U.S. Central Time), you will receive that week's mailing, but occasionally this deadline might be somewhat earlier. Those who subscribe after the deadline can expect to receive their first list the following week. If more than two weekends have passed since you sent your subscription request, please use this form to let me know.

By this time last week, I had already received the list. This week it has not arrived yet. Should I be alarmed?

No. Keep in mind that the list is sent manually, so you may not receive it at exactly the same time each week. While I try to send it sometime on Friday, sometimes it may come out earlier or later, depending upon my schedule.

I subscribed to the list, received it for a while, but suddenly it stopped arriving in my e-mail. What happened?

This could happen for any number of reasons, but most likely your e-mail has started to bounce back to me for one reason or another. Because I know that anomalies can happen with e-mail and the internet, I ignore the first bounce I receive from your email. A second bounce may result in your email being removed from my distribution list. If now, or sometime in the future, you have a valid e-mail address once again, I invite you to resubscribe using this form. (An out of office response will NOT result in your removal from the list).

I have never subscribed to your list, but I still receive it regularly. Why are you spamming me?

I'm not. It is important that you understand I do not send this mailing unsolicited, and will do everything I can to stop others from doing so. If you are continually receiving this list without having subscribed, please check the address from which you receive it. Someone is probably forwarding it to you, most likely someone you know. If you do not want them to continue doing this, please contact them directly and ask them to stop. If this does not work, please inform me of the problem (use the comment section of this form). Be sure to give me their e-mail address and, if possible, their name. I will contact them and, in extreme cases, remove them from my mailing list.

Can I forward your list to my friends?

Yes...but...keep my comments above in mind!! You can send a sample list to your friends, but be sure to include the entire message. Again, please use proper netiqette. Do not annoy others (friend or foe) by continually spamming them with this list. This could lead to your removal from the mailing list as described above. Let your friends know that if they want to receive the list regularly, they should visit my web site and use this form to subscribe.
