• Join me for a Webinar titled "SHRP 2 IAP: Driver Performance and Behavior in Adverse Weather Conditions: Microsimulation and Variable Speed Limit Implementation of the SHRP2 Naturalistic Driving Study Results" on Thursday, May 12, 2022, from noon to 1 p.m. EDT. For the first time, driver behavior in adverse weather and various traffic conditions were quantified objectively using the SHRP2 Naturalistic Driving Data. This multi-phase project is part of the SHRP2 Implementation Assistance Program (AASHTO -Strategic Highway Research Program 2-Safety (transportation.org)) where research concepts were translated into implementable and practical countermeasures. • Started working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Wyoming, September 29, 2021.

• Paper published in Journal of Intelligent Transportation Systems: Technology, Planning, and Operation, July 5, 2021.

• Successfully defended my Ph.D. dissertation, July 1, 2021. Extremely thankful to my advisor and my committee members. I am so happy that my family watched the whole defense presentation.      

• Have been recognized as a recipient of the 2021 ITE CO/WY Section Executive Committee Leadership Award, May 13, 2021.

• Paper published in Transportation Research Record, March 30, 2021. 

• Have been selected as a Lifesavers Traffic Safety Scholar (TSS) for the 2021 Virtual Lifesavers National Conference on Highway Safety Priorities, April 26-28, 2021. The conference is one of the largest gatherings of highway safety professionals in the United States. 

• On January 28, 2021, I will be presenting my paper titled "Prediction of Lane Change Maneuvers using the SHRP2 Naturalistic Driving Study Data: A Machine Learning Approach" at the 100th TRB Annual Meeting (TRBAM-21-02961).
