Tryouts

Overview:

Men's club soccer tryouts occurs over three days. On the first day, all players meet at FOCO and run to Sachem Fields as a group. Players compete in a variety of drills focused on dribbling, passing, in-game positioning, etc., as current players observe. At the end of the first day, the team chooses players who receive a callback for the second day of tryouts. The second day of tryouts follows the same schedule: players meet at FOCO, compete in drills, and then receive information about whether they made the team later that night. Those who make the cut make the A-team. The players who made it to the second round but did not make the A-team go to another day of tryouts with the B-team. At the end of day 3, those who make the cut earn a spot on the B-team.
