Tryouts

Overview:

Tryouts for Men's Club Soccer is spread over three days. The first day, all players meet at Foco and run over to Sachem Fields as a group. Players compete in a variety of drills focused on dribbling, passing, in-game positioning, etc., as current players observe. At the end of the day, the team chooses players who receive a callback to the second day of tryouts. The second day of tryouts follows the same schedule: players meet at Foco, compete in drills, and then hear whether they made the cut later that night. Those who make the cut at the end of day 2 make the A-Team. The players who made the first round but did not make the A-Team go to another day of tryouts with the B-Team. At the end of day 3, those who make the cut earn a spot on the B-Team.
