//This entire page might get nixed. It adds a layer of complexity that should just be part of the relevant skill. I'll keep it around, but by and large this page is obsolete.
A subset of Traits are styles. These are things you've learned to do in a particular style. Mostly combat skills, but piloting can fall under this as well. They give a die bonus to skills based on the level, you have to take them in order, and they give access to special actions based on the skill they modify. These are just examples. If you want to have a different style, feel free to design it yourself and present it to the GM. No ECL 0 Custom races, though. All levels of Styles cost 2 points per rank. Thus, Apprentice level costs 2 points, Novice costs 4, Student costs 6, Expert costs 8 and Master costs 10.
//I'm considering making it 5 points at all levels. That's still a considerable investment, and the earlier levels cost more than they give, but the later levels would be at a large discount for greater ability.

The Styles
Aikido
Spiritual Flow (Apprentice): The very basic idea behind Aikido. Being able to feel the flow of an enemy's movements and reacting. Aikido is split into two roles; the uke- the defender- is the primary focus. You're not throwing punches, you're avoiding theirs, and taking away their center of balance. This gives a +1 die bonus to both Dodge and Unarmed, and +1 additional die to grapple attempts.
