I am Daniel E Restrepo. Currently, I am a second year PhD student in the University of Texas at Austin.
Research interests
My main interest in mathematics are Partial Differential Equations (PDE), Stochastic Processes and their interplay.
I am currently working on homogenization problems arising in the context of free boundaries and surfaces, under the advisory of Prof. Luis Caffarelli and Prof. Francesco Maggi. I am also interested in problems about regularity and multiplicity results for semilinear elliptic equations.
In economics, I am currently finishing my PhD in economics at University Eafit (Colombia), under the advisory of Prof. Juan Carlos Duque. We are currently working on problems related to regional designing and economic complexity.
