Danny continually earns local and national acclaim for his work as a guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. He has won numerous awards for his musicianship, most notably for guitar competitions at East Carolina University, Music Academy of North Carolina, and the Society of American Musicians. Danny's mom taught him his first guitar chords at age 12 and he embarked upon his training at age 13 under the mentorship of his older brothers and Venezuelan classical guitarist Daniél Marchan. He immediately realized his love for guitar and went on to study with some of the greatest classical guitar performers and pedagogues. He has had sessions with Jason Vieaux, Aaron Shearer, SoloDuo , Beijing Guitar Duo, Andrew Zohn, Denis Azabagic, Zoran Dukić, and Ana Vidovic.

Danny was the sole guitarist in Spoleto Festival's opera "Flora," by Neely Bruce. In October 2012 he performed and recorded Landshcaften, by Martin Hercehnroeder, a concerto for two guitars and orchestra with the Bowling Green State University Orchestra for their New Music Festival. Other world premiers include the duo "Distant Cries," by Stephen Stanziano for the Cleveland Composer's Guild performed with Jason Vieaux. Danny has performed and been interviewed numerous times on local Pittsburgh radio stations including WQED, WDVE, WXDX, WYEP, and most recently on WRCT, advertising the release of his album Samadhi.

Danny holds a Bachelor's degree from Duquesne University and Master of Music degree in classical guitar performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music where he studied with Grammy winning guitarist and mentor Jason Vieaux.

Danny's album Samadhi (Misra Records) is available anywhere you buy or stream music. This album is a meditative solo guitar record consisting of pieces personally composed and arranged, as well as music from the classical guitar repertoire.

Danny also stays busy playing steel-string and electric guitar and mandolin in various bluegrass, country, rock, and celtic bands.

Currently he resides in Pittsburgh, PA where he enjoys teaching, yoga, meditating, and riding his bike.
