My primary research interests:

• Structure and representation theory of Lie groups and algebras
• Harmonic analysis
• Functional analysis and the theory of operator algebras

My research area is finite- and infinite-dimensional Lie theory and representation theory. This is deeply related to mathematical physics via symmetry groups and involves a wide range of ingredients such as reproducing kernels, completely positive maps, dynamical systems, differential equations, spectral theory, abstract Fourier analysis etc.
