    A classically trained geographer, interested in space, place, and sustainability: my studies have carried me across the country and back again.  My expertise is in transportation and urban planning, with a strong background in physical geography and environmental science; my work has utilized traditional field methods alongside  robust quantitative and qualitative social science approaches.

In addition to extensive academic training, I spent several years teaching courses as University faculty and am now serving in local government as a professional in geospatial technologies; my roles have included tackling everything from data collection to cartography, from one-off projects to robust back-end infrastructure.  What is a geographer without a map?
