Queen Martian has begun sacrificing & crucifying the inhabitants of Taipei, Taiwan! So it's up to Hanumajin (imagine a South-East Asian of The Golem) and Japanese superhero Jumborg Ace to protect these Chinese victims. The whole second half of the movie is one long dai-kaiju battle!  Return of the Magic Serpent

Return of the Magic Serpent

Finally, this 1960s Taiwanese movie is available to English-language audiences!  Though obviously inspired by Japan's THE MAGIC SERPENT, this laughable fantasy is better known under such titles as 小飛俠, "Hsiao Fei Hsia", and "Young Flying Hero".  Damon Foster faithfully translated this silly 1969 film's dialogue into English, and then came up with a soundtrack that's 75% serious and 25% humorous. The DVD includes optional soundtracks, audio-commentary, cast biographies, rare trivia and more. Return with us, to a time when clumsy swordplay qualified as martial arts, when cheap rubber-costumes sufficed as giant monsters, and good old English dubbing was preferred over subtitles.

Featuring the voices of: Ric Meyers, Damon Foster, Ed Godziszewski, Johnny Saiko, Andrea Beesley Brown, J.D. Lees, Brad Warner, Brett Homenick, Barrie Evans and Danny Marianino.

Devils, Dragons and Vampires

Devils, Dragons and Vampires

Despite overwhelming odds (ancient video equipment which kept failing, unreliable actors, and a hastily written script) against its completion, DDV still manages to entertain somewhat. Easily Damon Foster’s worst video, despite efforts to liven up this fiasco with topless female vampires, bad jokes, and a Satanic hero (!) who practices kung fu.

“I enjoyed it thoroughly. I felt that the corny jokes were a little thick, but I really had a good time.”
Ed Holland, MONSTER ATTACK TEAM (2001)

“Overall, good job Damon.  Looking forward to your next film.”
August Ragone, HENSHIN ONLINE (2000)

Hot Dogs on the Run

Hot Dogs on the Run

“Damon Foster’s video production is a hilarious spoof of every martial arts movie character.” –Amy Harlib, MAFFAPA fanzine (1989)

“This is an incredible movie.  It’s the funniest thing I’ve seen since—I can’t remember when.”-Jim Alexender, INDEPENDENT VIDEO fanzine (1990)

"HOT DOGS ON THE RUN manages to be a credible spoof of martial arts films.  The stuntwork, as times, is quite impressive.  But non-kung fu fans may find the extremely low productions values to be too much of a hindrance.”  -   Richard Akiyama, SKAM fanzine.

“The best martial arts film made for loose change.  Damon starred in a few different roles in this excellent shot-on-video spoof of old martial arts flicks.” Garo Nigoghossian, PADODA fanzine

Martyr X

Martyr X

MARTYR X is the sister project to the more popular DEVILS DRAGONS AND BLOOD-SUCKING BATS (both 2005 movies were shot simultaneously): Same cast, same set, same props. MARTYR X was shot in the morning, and after costume changes, DEVILS DRAGONS AND BLOOD-SUCKING BATS was shot in the afternoon. Martial arts, a giant octopus, fanged trolls, a monstrous turtle, and Islamic terrorists battle it out, in this tale of a radio-active meteor that creates genetic mutations. Plenty of laughs, fight scenes, spaceships, spandex-clad girls, alien invaders and robots in this feature-length, sci-fi comedy.

Superhero Rarities

Superhero Rarities

A two-disk compilation that’s a must for fans of Ultraman, Power Rangers, Godzilla, etc.  In addition to a youthful Damon Foster [performing superhero karate] on stage in the 1980s, there’s a riveting documentary about the height of Power Rangers mania (early 1990s), when stalker Scott Dacy harassed not only the program’s ‘Pink Ranger’ actress, but he even hassled independent video makers & fanzine editors like Damon Foster himself.

In addition, there’s a rare English dubbed print of GO-RANGERS (mid-1970s Japanese TV show) #1, and a report on silly shenanigans that happened at a 2006 sci-fi convention. Plenty of laughs!

Shaolin vs. Terminator

Shaolin vs. Terminator

SHAOLIN VS. TERMINATOR is Damon’s 2003 audio dubbing of an obscure, feature-length foreign language movie.  Foster took this Korean sci-fi farce and turned it into a comedy, along the lines of WHAT’S UP TIGER LILY and KUNG PAO.

Damon Foster's Weird Videos

Damon Foster's Weird Videos

Finally, Damon's experimental old skits ("Incredible Pus Monkey Circus", "Curse of the Prehistoric Monsters", "Karate Guys are Here to Stay", "News for the Slow", "Violent Yet Noble Dudes of Shaolin", "Dinky Hormone's Outhouse", and much more) are available on this 4-disk set. For decades, Foster was too ashamed to let anybody see some of his brash, crude, offensive (YOU'VE NOW BEEN WARNED!)oldies, but he finally relented. In addition, several of the skits were experiments he made as a youngster in the 1970s & early 1980s-- and are unwatchable. The highlight is his comedic, ten-part serial STUCK IN A RUT (from 1986 Community Access), which manage to be funny, coherent and G-Rated! Includes behind-the-scenes trivia that documents what it was like to be a video-maker in the 1980s.
