Welcome!

Amateur Radio is an integral part in making this Marathon and all the previous marathons a success by providing a public service radio communications network for safety and logistics. Amateur Radio has Supported the Marathon roughly 40 years.

Communications for the Marathon has been supported by the many Amateur Radio Clubs in and around the Metroplex and their members. Without this support , we would not be able to provide this communications logistic and safety function for the runners and support folks helping with the marathon. For this we thank the Amateur Radio Community!

THANK YOU!!

Thank you to all communicators that provided their time, equipment, and expertise in support of the 2023 Dallas Marathon.  Whether it was your first or 20th, you all provided effective communications and critical thinking throughout the event.  Patience, forward thinking, and adjustments on the fly, aided in expediting message handling and needs to provide a safe environment for participants and volunteers.

We look forward to working with you on many of the events that are sponsored by many other clubs throughout the year.
