Kuo-Hsing Lee, LEED AP ND, a licensed architect in Taiwan, had worked for a development and construction company in China for years. Engaged projects, commercial office buildings in Shanghai and Ningbo, were awarded gold level of LEED certifications. By pursuing LEED certifications for these building projects, he is aware of the effectiveness that LEED behaves on environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and building market in Mainland China. With experiences to develop green buildings in China, Lee sets up the fruitLEEDesign Architecture Practice in Hualien, Taiwan in 2013, and focuses on LEED+BIM solutions as well as high performance building design by applying computer simulators.
