Here is a link to the well written manual which is absolutely essential to playing and enjoying the game as it includes detailed descriptions of each room and some awesome lore for the game:

The goal of the game is to find and kill the evil wizard Morloc. Although he can be found in most of the rooms of the tower, he is most often in the 5th or 6th floor.
There are various treasures in the tower. I put an asterisk next to the useful ones:
1. A gold ring
2. * Glowing blue pyramid (prevents Morloc from leaving the room he is in)
3. Gold circlet
4. * Brass ring (limited protection from fire attacks)
5. Nymph statuette
6. * Metal egg . When used it will explode and do considerable damage to everyone in the room. Can be used only once.
7. * TV device. Can be used to determine the room in which Morloc is currently located. This treasure is extremely heavy, so I usually move it to room 2 and only pick it up and use it to see where Morloc is and then drop it again.
8. * Copper ring (gradually heals wounds)
9. Leather pouch with foul smelling herbs.
10. * Sword that helps with fighting and glows when Morloc is an adjoining room and flares when in the same room.
11. * Brass amulet. Provides limited protection from fire attacks
12. Hunting horn. If used it will attract more monsters
Here is a scan of a hand drawn map of the tower that includes the locations for the treasures. The "S" on levels 3 and 5 indicate secret doors:
Rooms 1 through 6 are the stairs and can be used to move up or down one floor.
