Meals
All meals will be served in the Dining Hall (we will use Dining Hall dishes).
Please do not bring food to the lodges. We don't want to attract resident critters.
Drinks
Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate will be available in the Dining Hall. Bring your own mug/cup. Powdered creamer and sugar will be available. If wanted, bring your own soda. Mark containers or bring a small cooler. Water is always available. The water at camp is safe to drink. Bottled water is not necessary. Milk and juice are available at breakfast (and sometimes at other meals).
Snacks
Some snacks (provided by the committee) will be available in the Dining Hall on Friday night and all day/evening Saturday.
Feel free to bring a snack to share. All snacks must be nut free.
Recycle
We will be using the Leave No Trace ethics of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. There will be marked bins for various recycling materials (paper, aluminum, cardboard, etc.). Please use them.
Kapers
Each person will receive a Kaper (chore) for Friday or Saturday when they check in. These tasks must be completed before you leave. Examples of kapers include: preparing meals (with supervision), cleaning up after meals, taking out trash, etc.
Kapers on Sunday will be done by teams. These teams will be determined by who is there. Please do not leave on Sunday morning until you have helped your team complete its kaper.
Lodges
Sequoia
Myrtle's Manor
All lodges have indoor plumbing, electricity, heat, hot water, and mattresses. Sequoia has COTS available on request. Myrtle's Manor has BUNK BEDS. There are NO showers.
In Sequoia mattresses and gear must be put away on Saturday morning as the lodges will be used for classes during the day.
If you have an inflatable mattress, it must be set up when you arrive or before 9:00 pm.
