HAWK UNIVERSAL REMOTE UPGRADE SYSTEM £20
I didn't get the key fob to use the remote locking supplied with the civic but found this unit for £20.
Using the Haynes manual and supplied data sheet I installed this myself. Had to buy an actuator £7 also from Hawk. Total cost £27
K&N Replacment Air Filter 33-2036 £35
Leather Red Stitched Gear Gaitor £ 9
Small tin of red enamel £ 2
Coloured the numbers on the gear fob
I did the impressed logo on my keys too
I bought this for a few quid, but didn't like the wires showing every time I need to use it. The solution to this problem was to remove the plug and thread it through the back of the small tray in the middle of the front console. Then find the positive wire to the cigarette light, insert another wire to a switch and inline fuse and finally to the red wire of the device. The black wire went to ground on the cigarette grounding wire. less than £6
Another upgrade to help me negotiate my drive way as I reverse in. Also self installed (much easier to understand)
Used with a retractable USB cable it looks a lot neater.
So now without losing the cigarette lighter I can charge my SatNav and MP3 or Mobile.
These pedal pads were an impulse buy £8
