Welcome to my website!

I am a Reykjavík-based applied microeconomist specialized in personnel, behavioral and experimental economics. My research aims to inform the design of productive, inclusive and innovative organizations by exploring unintended consequences of incentive schemes and testing for biases in the evaluation of innovative ideas.

Over the last 15 years, I've lived and worked in five countries. Currently, I am Head of Research at StateUp, a leading provider of data, analytics and intelligence products on public-purpose technology. Previously, I was a Principal Researcher at Nesta's Innovation Growth Lab in London, striving to make innovation and business support policy more evidence-based and inclusive. Prior to joining Nesta, I worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Department of Economics of the University of Chicago. I obtained my PhD in Economics from the University of Amsterdam. I began my professional life as an intern at the Hungarian National Bank's Department of Statistics.
