Smartphone as a Camera: Have you been neglecting your old camera and using your smartphone camera instead? Smartphone camera capabilities have improved dramatically in the past few years. You will learn how to: take good pictures, manage photos on your phone, automatically upload new photos to the cloud for backup, edit photos, organize them into albums, share with friends and relatives, and deliver a slideshow on your home TV. This is a hands-on session using your smartphone. Bring your Apple or Android smartphone. (Limit 15)

Home Technology Systems: Options for communication technology in the home have greatly expanded in recent years. Not only are there entertainment technologies that can be connected to your “smart” TV but also various home system control technologies that can be connected to household devices to simplify your life. This class will explore media, services and hardware options and provide advice in setting up both simple and more complex systems. (Limit 30)

Pinterest: Learn about an on-line virtual pinboard that lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the Web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes. You will be able to: sign up for Pinterest, create a Pinterest Board, add Pins to a Board, create Favorites & Following on Pinterest and share your interests with others. Bring your own laptop. (Limit 15)
