PSA Teachers

Dylan Perreira graduated from California State University, Chico with a BA in Psychology and minor in Business Administration and from San Diego State University with a Master's degree in Education, with a focus in Instructional Design and Educational Technology. Dylan has taught Geography, World History, U.S. History, Government, AP Government, Economics, and AP Psychology at CV. He helped develop the PSA and has been involved with it for the past 15 years.

Sayed Anwar graduated from University of California at San Diego with a BA in American History and minor in Psychology. After college he worked in the Hi-Tech and Software industries for eight years. He taught Leadership, Computers and History at Dallas Ranch Middle School in Antioch for six years before coming to Clayton Valley in 2012. A Concord native and father of four, he takes great pride in being able to give back to his community through teaching. He currently teaches AP US History and AP Government, and serves as advisor to Model United Nations and Legal Eagles, Clayton Valley's debate team.

Robin Travenick attended both UCLA and UC Santa Cruz, graduating with her BA from UCSC. She received her master’s degree from Western Washington University with a double emphasis in performance and literature. Robin returned to teaching twelve years ago after raising her two children and is passionate about young adults and their potential to make a difference in the world.

Jennifer Lopez graduated from California State University of Long Beach with a B.A. in English Literature. Before deciding to become a teacher, she volunteered at the Long Beach Boys and Girls Club, tutored, and even substituted all grade levels. She is now dedicated to being a great English teacher. She currently teaches English I, English II, and English Language Development.
