Lodge Facilities

The Lodge provides the following facilities:

• WiFi Internet connection

• All rooms have electronic safes for valuables, heaters & sinks

• Separate showers & toilets, no bath (laundry tub makes a good baby/toddler bath!)

• Washing machine and clothes dryer

• Ski storage area

• Drying room

• Cots and high chairs available upon request

• Security entry doors (you will be provided with the code after payment)

• Open fireplace

• Spacious lounge – stereo (with iPod dock)

• Large kitchen for self catering - 2 gas stove tops, 2 electric ovens, 2 microwaves, 2 dishwashers

• TV room - TV, video, DVD player and DVD library

• Separate dining area

• Balcony with gas BBQ

• Board games such as Monopoly, Scrabble, Uno, Chess and Backgammon

The Lodge also provides the following items for your convenience:

• Doonas (duvet), pillows, blankets & hand soap

• Towels & linen - these can be supplied at an additional cost

• Tea towels, place mats and serviettes

• Tea bags, instant coffee, hot chocolate

• Salt, pepper, sugar, flour and oil

• detergent and laundry washing powder

• Aluminium foil, plastic wrap and garbage bags

What to bring:

• Food: Currawong does not supply meals. We have ample cooking and food storage areas for all members and guests

• Towels and linen - alternatively, these can be supplied for an additional cost

• Indoor Shoes: Please bring with you both indoor and outdoor footwear.  We try to maintain the lodge carpet inside, and ask that you leave you outdoor footwear in the areas provided before entering the living areas. 

Thredbo Village has a supermarket, bakery, bottle shop and various restaurants, pubs and cafes for you to sample, or you can shop on the way in Jindabyne.

Welcome drinks

• Every Saturday evening during the winter season the lodge managers provide a welcoming Gluehwein and nibbles commencing at 6:00 pm.
