AACC College Proficiency Credit for HRM 119 Sanitation (1 credit) and HRM 121 Intro to Culinary Arts (3 credits) awarded upon successfully completing the year-end written and practical exams.
American Culinary Federation Certified Fundamental Cook
The CAT South Culinary Arts Program is American Culinary Federation certified, which adds value to your Career Completer diploma .
Students who successfully complete Levels 1 & 2 Culinary Arts at CAT South will qualify for ACF Certified Fundamental Cook certification without an examination.
ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification
Students who pass the exam will also receive a ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification in Level 2.
ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification is valid for five years and accepted by most federal, state and local jurisdictions.
However, this requirement and years valid may vary depending on the local requirements
CAT South students take this course for free during Level 2 classes, since Chef Klink is certified to teach the course and proctor the exam.
