UPDATE (17/11/2020): following a decision by the main RSA conference organisers, CT-RSA 2021 will take place virtually. Further details will be announced here in due course.
Submissions must not substantially duplicate work that any of the authors has published in/submitted to a journal or a conference/workshop with proceedings. Authors may also not submit the work to any other venue with published proceedings until after the date of notification of acceptance/rejection. Accepted submissions may not appear in any other conference or workshop that has proceedings. The CT-RSA 2021 chair reserves the right to share information about submissions with other program committees or journal editors to detect parallel submissions. In addition, the CT-RSA 2021 chair reserves the right to contact an author's institution/corporation and/or other appropriate organizations if an irregular submission is detected.
Submissions must be anonymous, with no author names, affiliations, acknowledgments, or obvious references. Submissions must be written in English. Submissions should begin with a title, and a short abstract. The length of the main body of submissions should be at most 24 pages, including bibliography using Springer's LNCS package (see instructions at springer: instructions for authors) with no changes to the style. Springer encourages authors to include their ORCIDs in their papers.
Authors submitting a Systematization of Knowledge paper should have a title consisting of "SoK: Title". This is to ensure the committee is aware that the paper is an SoK paper. To accommodate the greater number of references that would be expected in SoK papers, such submissions should be at most 30 pages, including bibliography (with format as above).
Any number of clearly marked appendices may be supplied following the main body of the paper. However, the committee members are not required to read appendices; the paper should be intelligible without them.
Submitted papers must be in PDF format and should be submitted electronically to the above website.
Submissions not meeting these guidelines risk rejection without consideration of their merits.
The proceedings will be published in the Springer LNCS series, and will be available at the conference. Each publication will be limited to 24 pages including the bibliography, and the submitted paper should represent what the authors expect to finally publish. In addition, the corresponding author of each accepted paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of that paper, must complete and sign a Consent-to-Publish form. The corresponding author signing the copyright form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper. Once the files have been sent to Springer, changes relating to the authorship of the papers cannot be made.
Authors of accepted papers must guarantee that their paper will be presented at the conference. The presenter of each paper will be given a free Full Pass to the RSA Conference. Given the current uncertainty around COVID-19, we will support remote presentation for those authors of accepted papers who wish to make use of it.
Conflict of Interest (COI) Policy: CT-RSA 2021 will use the IACR COI policy available here: https://www.iacr.org/docs/conflicts.pdf.
