Full Professor at Insper. She holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, a master's degree in Economics from PUC-Rio, a master's degree in Statistics, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
Before joining Insper, she was a visiting professor at the University of Michigan and an associate professor at EESP/FGV. Her research areas include Econometrics and the Economics of Education.
She has published articles in various international journals, including The Review of Economic Studies, Journal of Econometrics, Quantitative Economics, and Review of Economics and Statistics.
Currently, she is a member of the Latin American Standing Committee of the Econometric Society and the board of the Brazilian Econometric Society. She has also served as an associate editor of the Brazilian Review of Econometrics.
