The purpose of the Cedar Ridge High School Track and Field Booster Club is to support, encourage, and promote the Track & Field program at Cedar Ridge High School for the benefit of the students, the school and the community.

Serving on the Booster Board is a great way to support our athletes, help strengthen the program, and build community among families. Below is a brief overview of the primary roles within the board.
The President helps guide the overall direction of the Booster Club and ensures the organization runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and preside over booster meetings.
Work closely with the Head Coach and Booster Sponsor to coordinate booster activities.
Oversee the functions and goals of the Booster Club.
Monitor the organization’s financial status with the Treasurer.
Help resolve membership concerns and maintain positive communication among parents and coaches.
Sign approved contracts and official documents when necessary.
Appoint committee chairs and oversee committees.
Ensure the club follows bylaws and schedules annual financial audits.
The Vice President supports the President and helps coordinate the work of booster committees.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the President with booster activities and operations.
Oversee committees and ensure projects and events stay organized.
Serve as acting President if the President is unavailable.
Help coordinate administrative tasks and booster initiatives.
Stay familiar with all booster activities to help support leadership when needed.
The Secretary keeps the Booster Club organized by maintaining records and communication.
Key Responsibilities
Record and maintain meeting minutes for board and membership meetings.
Maintain accurate records including bylaws, meeting notes, and membership lists.
Track attendance at meetings.
Manage booster correspondence and communications when needed.
Maintain team roster information and organizational documents.
Ensure records are organized and available when needed.
The Treasurer manages the financial operations of the Booster Club and helps ensure financial transparency.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the custodian of all booster club funds.
Manage deposits, payments, and financial records.
Maintain accurate financial reports and bank reconciliations.
Provide financial updates to the board and membership.
File required tax documents and financial reports.
Work with the board to manage the booster budget.
Ensure compliance with district, UIL, and IRS financial guidelines.
This position is especially important for the continued success of the program as our current treasurer will be stepping down.
Events Chair
Coordinate our end-of-season banquet and celebrate our athletes in style.
Volunteer Committee: help when you can, no ongoing commitment!
