Artist introduction

Soro Laura was born in Rome on 1967 and until childhood she goes in for studying history with strong love for the Art; she in fact learns to derive everywhere all startingpoints or deep thoughts to arrive the sensibility and emotion. She takes part in an International exhibition in Via Margutta at Rome already in 1975, when she was scarcely eight years old. In this way, she masters her studies and she get a degree with full marks and honours in (Lettere Moderne) History of the Art at Tor Vergata University in Rome. She works for a short time at a roman Art Gallery while she is more intimacy with the colours that are in herself.

She has moved to Avezzano on 1995 and she lives still there. She exposes her pictures for the first time in a personal exhibition on 1997 at the Municipal Gallery of Avezzano.

She paints mainly with oils and the subjects are various (from the landscape to the still life).

Successively she enters in the effervescent world of extemporary exhibition of painting. In these occasions, she receives positive opinions and she expecially respires the particular air that in these events is very rich in art, feelings, different lives. So everyone can grow up.

There are many persons that share a passion, a way to look the life, but at the same time are different way.

It's singular to find L.Soro described between the words of a book ("Il vento e il lago")of A. Di Legge, a writer and poet, as a personages, an artist, of old time.

Actually she paints with oils, the first love, but also with the acrylic colours on canvas too.

The subjects range from landscapes to portraits, from still lives to figurative works.

She continues to prove the reality and the dreams in her soul, in her pictures.
