Wei Chen is currently an Associate Professor in School of Environmental Studies of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan). Before that, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in State Key Laboratory of Environmental and Biological Analysis of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) during May 2017 to July 2018. From 2012 to 2016, He was studying his Ph.D in Lancaster Environment Centre(LEC) of Lancaster University in the UK. His Ph.D research project is Fate of Chemicals in Chinese Wastewater Treatment Plants, under the supervisions of Prof. Kevin C. Jones, Prof. Hao Zhang, Dr. Andy Sweetman, Dr. Hong Li, Prof. Guang-Guo Ying and Dr. Nan Xu. He received his B.S. degree in hydrology and water resources engineering from School of Environmental Studies of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) in 2009, under the supervision of Prof. Shihua Qi.
