Staff Appreciation
The beginning of May we will pull together our resources and pamper our staff to show how much we appreciate all that they do all year long!
Our wonderful Staff Appreciation Committe have lots of terrific things in mind to make this happen.

Wellness Carnival and DWOH

On Thursday, April 27th from 4-6 pm, please join us in the elementary school building for a fun community night where we will host lots of activities and challenges surrounding wellness.

Some of the elementary classrooms will be partnering with us to create the carnival games that will be set up in the hallway off the gym that promise to be physically or mentally engaging. To earn admitance into these games, you must complete our wellness challenges that the parents will host in the gym to earn the tickets!

Check in at the door by signing your name to our attendance sheet and every child gets a bracelet on which they can collect these five charms (much like our Lunch Bunch tokens) hidden throughout some of the classsroom carnival activites. Find all of them for a complete set!

If you are interested in volunteering with us that night, please sign up here! If you have Wellness activity ideas for that night, please contact Niki Goll.

The very next day, April 28th, we will be celebrating Day Without Hate (DWOH) all throughout the CSA campus. This is a day where we set aside all differences and remember to be kind and to not tolerate hate and voilence in our communities... especially our school communities. Students at Standley Lake High School started this in resonse to the Virginia Tech shootings. We will be talking about this during the Wellness Carnival, finalizing any last posters that are required to transform the school for this awesome day, and in general raising awareness for the power of kindness and acceptance.

TALENT SHOW

Are you the comedian at your lunch table?  Have you lost more tennis balls learning to juggle than your dog can fetch?

Does your band practice in the garage until your parents cut you off?

Well, it is time to share your talent, funny or serious, with CSA.

The fourth annual CSA Talent Show is
May 12, 2017 at Westminster High School.

Auditions will be held from 2:15 to 3:30 pm on Friday, April 14, 2017, at CSA.

To give proper thanks to our families that support our school all year long, the PTA hosts a third book fair each spring that we do not take a profit from. This is so that we can offer all of the titles in the fair for buy one, get one free! It's a great time to stock up on summer reading! We will be hosting this fafir the day of end of year ceremonies: Thursday, May 25th and Friday, May 26th. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
