INFECTION GENESIS APP has been created to simulate the bad effect of crowding in spreading of any virus (e.g. like Covid-19).
In the application, the user gives the number of people and their maximum speed in space. During the simulation, the user can change the speed and direction of movement of healthy humans by clicking on them. When the infection has spread to all individuals, the spread curve is plotted that shows the number of infections in the unit of time.
According to the simulation, it holds that as the number of people increases in a region, the total time to decease the whole population decreases, due to the exponential spreading of the virus. This is the reason that we have to STAY HOME (Greek: ΜΕΝΟΥΜΕ ΣΠΙΤΙ), which is the best strategy to avoid the virus and to stop the virus spreading for the community.
