Welcome to my page. I hope you find something interesting. If you'd like to talk research, teaching, guitars, or music, drop me a line!
My current projects include various investigations into creativity including understanding the role of diversity in team creativity, modeling and testing theories of how people learn creativity, and examining how work affects cognition and creativity. I am also pursuing projects (in the lab and using observational data) related to industry competition and its effect on innovation. Another current agenda focuses on testing models of cooperation in complex games.
I also direct the George Washington Forum at Ohio University - a program that integrates student and public programming, with a purpose of fostering curiosity, generating intellectual exploration, and supporting diversity of thought.
I also offer consultation services as an expert witness. Please email me and we can discuss your project's needs.
