Stella Marjorie is a happy family boat. She is fun to sail and her shallow draft and centreboard arrangement gives access to shallow navigation and beaches not accessible to most yachts. A great layout for activities such as swimming and fishing, with four berths in two cabins, means she is ideal for family weekending.
Built in 1977 with yard number 124, she measures 29'3" (8.9 m) with bowsprit, has a beam of 8' (2.4 m) and draws 2'5" (0.7 m) with plate up. She weighs about 3.7 tonnes. For more details click here, or for technical specifications and kit list, click here.
With all sails up, she boasts a solid 300 sq ft (c. 28 sq m), which helps her cut through the waves in a relaxed and confident fashion.
For pottering about under power, she packs an efficient and well-maintained 10 hp inboard Yanmar engine.
Recently surveyed, Stella Marjorie (just Stella to her friends) has been lovingly cared for since she was built, and will no doubt continue to be a dependable companion to her new owner for many years.
