Answers to Your Questions

What is the Co-op Annex?

This is an additional shopping area that will be in use at different times throughout the year to allow the Co-op to display more items or to showcase items during special shopping events. It is located in the basement of 814 College Ave. Unless otherwise instructed, the entrance will be through the south laundry room basement door which is at the south end of the building by the football field fence.

What will I find in the Co-op Annex?

This space will initially be used for the larger items that students look for when they set-up their apartments and dorm rooms. Pillows of all kinds, bedding, curtains, laundry items, wall decor, hangers, furniture, rugs. It will also be the location of special shopping events like the Children’s Clothing Shopping Spree and Winter Coat Room. Special shopping events at the Annex will be posted on the Home page.

What are the hours at the Co-op and Co-op Annex?

See the Home page for Co-op hours. The Co-op Annex has more irregular hours

Why isn't the Annex open all the time?

Opening the Annex allows the Co-op to serve a larger number of students when the Co-op's donations and student needs are at their highest. Many of the items in the Annex will eventually be moved to the Co-op, can be requested for pick-up or a trip to the Annex can be requested on certain days the Co-op is open.

I can’t possibly shop in 15 minutes:

The 15 minute speed-shopping time frame will be used when necessary the first few days the Co-op is open and during high traffic shopping times thereafter. You can go to the back of the line and shop for an additional 15 minutes if you would like.

Why does the Co-op have such strange hours?

The Co-op is staffed by volunteers who value this ministry to the Wheaton College campus. Hours are determined by the availability of volunteers.
