C.O.M. YARDAGE REQUIREMENTS All C.O.M. yardage requirements are for Non-railroaded plain 54” wide upholstery fabric.
Please use the chart below as a guide in estimating extra fabric needed.
C.O.M. CHART INFORMATION: The C.O.M. chart shown is provided as a guide only. This chart is proven accurate in the majority of C.O.M. fabric requirements. Fabrics with a 27” side by side repeat, irregular layouts, border prints, unusually large patterns, velvet's and chenille fabrics will need additional yardage.
For patterns with one repeating motif centered in the middle of the width of the fabric, the yardage shown for 36” wide material must be used.
Should you require exact yardage for any customer job, please request yardage requirements by sending us a full width sample of the fabric vertical and horizontal repeat and picture of the furniture to which it will be applied.
MULTIPLE MATERIALS: If using more than one fabric, please contact us for yardage requirements and a fee will be applied for this service.
STRIPES & VELVET: All stripes will be applied vertically unless otherwise specified by customer. Due to the “nap” of velvet goods, it is necessary to add 10% to plain yardage required. Velvet will not be railroaded unless specifically requested. DO NOT fold or box velvet.
