Hello! I am a professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Utah. I received my PhD in Economics in 2007 from the New School for Social Research, and have lived in beautiful Utah ever since. I am originally from Romania, a welcoming country my family visits almost every year! Most importantly, I am the mom of two wonderful girls, and two mischievous kittens named Kylo & Loki. I share them together with many adventures in life and economics with my amazing partner, Rudi.
