What is The South Carolina Coastal Affiliate?

The South Carolina Coastal Affiliate (SCCA) of ANPD was founded in 2013 by Professional Development Specialists in the Charleston, SC area. 

Why join SCCA?

Joining SCCA will provide networking opportunities for you with other local professional development specialists and academic educators.  National, regional, and local speakers are scheduled to share their experience and knowledge with our group on a regular basis.  Earn CEs for many of the presentations.  The executive council of SCCA welcomes member ideas regarding the operation of our organizations.  This is a collegial group that draws from many of the local health care systems and nursing programs, and we would love to have you join us.”

Do I have to be an ANPD member to join SCCA?

No.  ANPD membership has great benefits but you are not required to be a member to join SCCA.

How much are SCCA dues?

Dues are $25 per year and renewed every July. 

When are the meetings?

SCCA meets bimonthly on the first Thursday of the month.  

What occurs at the meetings? 

We alternate networking meetings and speakers.
