Nuclear Ban Treaty

This year, the United Nations treaty to ban nuclear weapons has entered into force and yet the UK government has refused to sign it,  instead planning to increase the size of the UK nuclear arsenal for the first time in thirty years.

What you can do

Please sign our petition here to Bristol City Council asking them to pass a resolution supporting the treaty. Resolutions supporting the TPNW are being passed at all levels of local government; from town councils through unitary authorities to city councils and internationally.

Click here to ask your MP to sign Early Day Motion 1072 calling on the government to support the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.

Email your  your Bristol councillor, and ask them to support the Nuclear Ban Communities Initiative, using the template here.
