Outdoor-PV Research Laboratory

Investigation of photovoltaic modules and systems under outdoor conditions

Measurements:

    • Current-Voltage (I-V) curve of individual PV modules of different technologies:

    • BSF, PERC, PERT, HIT, IBC, a-Si/μcSi, a-Si, CIGS, bifacial PERC, bifacial HIT, bifacial PERT.

    • Energy monitoring of individual PV modules through micro-inverters

    • Irradiance sensors: Spectral irradiance, global horizontal irradiance, plane-of-array irradiance, diffuse spectral irradiance, diffuse global irradiance, albedo.

    • Other sensors: Module temperature, ambient temperature, relative humidity, air pressure, air density, wind speed, wind direction.
