1 Objectives

· Generate a XML schema and a valid XML document

· Specify how a node, or a set of nodes, in the tree representation of the XML document can be reached by means of queries

2 Domain of Interest

The domain of interest is the Demographic Data Description. As part of the task, you should identify the more representative concepts for characterizing a population. How many concepts to be used and their structure is a personal decision.

3 Assignment Report

Prepare a report describing the work carried out, including method, the generated XML schema, the XML document and queries realized and corresponding results.
