Problems encountered while walking or comments on our book
Dealing with rights of way problems
In order to keep the rights of way network open and usable it is important that walkers report any problems encountered. This includes fallen trees, blocked paths and rights of way through fields of crops, damaged or missing stiles, gates & footbridges. The details and links below should make this easier to do this. As the network is so vast it is helpful if minor obstructions can be dealt with by walkers on route, and it is useful to get into the habit of carrying a pair of secateurs to cut back overgrowth, particularly around stiles.
