Director of Water Polo

Playing experience:

Kaufmann started playing water polo as a 4th grader for Clovis High’s elementary age group water polo camp. After being a two year starter at Clark and winning back to back CIAL Championships, he went on to become a 3 year varsity player, 2 year varsity starter, and 2 time CIF runner-up at Clovis High School for water polo. During his Senior year, Kaufmann earned Second Team All-League and First Team All-CIF honors, as well as the Tim Simmons Sportsmanship Award, and the Jim Coiner Sportsmanship Award. Kaufmann swam all four years for Clovis High, earning a varsity letter for 3 years. As a distance swimmer, he placed as high as 17th in the 500 free in the CIF Championships. After graduating high school in 2013, Kaufmann went on to sign with Fresno Pacific University for water polo, where he was a three year starter for the Sunbirds, and played in all 103 games over the course of 4 seasons as a Sunbird.
