The Gabriella Ivic Citizenship Award

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same.

The Clinton Adult Learning Center was fortunate to have Gabriella Ivic as a teacher in our program for 22 years. She touched the minds and hearts of hundreds of students and staff, sharing her knowledge, offering support, and brightening all our lives with her kind and caring spirit. The footprints of Gabriella’s grace, love and humanity will forever be etched in our hearts.

In her memory we have created The Gabriella Ivic Citizenship Award which we are now accepting donations. This award will be given to an English Language Learner who has applied or is close to applying for the United States Citizenship Exam. There will be funds available to help defray the cost of the application.
