Our work on climate and vector-borne diseases has been cited in several main stream media (Scientific American, Washington Post, Huffington Post, ITV, Daily Mail…), local newspapers (Liverpool echo), policy and governmental reports (two UK parliamentary notes, one about climate change and infectious diseases, and one about climate change and agriculture, HAIRS report by Public Health England, MSF Lancet, ANSES, Public Health Canada, European Academies Science Advisory Council, ECDC, USAID…), other reports (Shock Waves report by the World Bank, WHO, Human rights Watch, UN GAP report, WEF 2020 Global Risk report…) and influential climate change blogs (Carbon Brief, Yale climate connections, Climate vulture…). A joint letter about US carbon emission regulations led by the American College of Physicians sent to A. Wheeler (head of USA-EPA) is also citing our work. Our work is also cited by Greta Thunberg and 15 Kids who recently claimed their Climate Rights at the UN.
Importantly, our work is mentioned on Wikipedia for “mosquito”.

Suitability of European climate for the Asian tiger mosquito Aedes Albopictus: recent trends and future scenario (Caminade et al., 2012) was mentioned in several European mainstream media : UK Independant, UK daily mail, 20min, La croix, Der Spiegel, Huffington Post, Earth Times, ITV,Corriere della serra…). A recent article in the Huffington Post (world’s deadliest animals) also mentions our study.
Modelling the effects of past and future climate on the risk of bluetongue emergence in Europe (Guis et al., 2012 in JRSI) was mentioned in the mainstream media (Planet Earth NERC, Guardian, BBC news…)
