Matthew Foster - Writer/Director & "Max"

Matthew Foster studied acting at Australia's renowned National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). He also completed training at the Atlantic Theatre Company in New York before permanently relocating to the Big Apple in 2009.

Matthew has been seen on Australian television screens in Home and Away, All Saints, and White Collar Blue, and also recently appeared in the HBO mini-series Mildred Pierce.

On film, he has appeared in the feature Neophytes and Neon Lights, as well as numerous short films, including Intervention and Clicked, both of which he also wrote and directed.

His many theatre credits in Sydney include Lend Me A Tenor, Noises Off, Twelve Angry Men, True West, Miss Julie, and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Since moving to the United States, he has appeared in The 39 Steps, My Fair Lady, The Merchant of Venice and The Jew of Malta.

A seasoned improv performer, Matthew won the coveted Cranston Cup in 2008 and represented Australia at the World Domination TheatreSports tournament in Atlanta, Georgia. He has also appeared on the Las Vegas Strip performing nightly at the Planet Hollywood Hotel in Aussie Improv Comedy Explosion.
