Andy Anderson - "Brian"

Born in New Zealand, Andy Anderson's diverse career has spanned several decades, beginning as a rock musician in numerous bands, including cult Aussie rock group The Missing Links.

After branching into acting in the original Australian production of Hair, Andy became a series regular on The Sullivans, earning a Logie Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1982.

Since then, he has starred in several TV series in Australia and New Zealand, including Prisoner, Gold, Marlin Bay, The Bob Morrison Show, Fire, Shortland Street and currently The Straits. Guest roles include The Flying Doctors, Xena: Warrior Princess, G.P., Heartbreak High, Water Rats, Blue Heelers, Neighbours, Stingers, McLeod's Daughters, All Saints and Sea Patrol. He also won an AFI Award for his role in Halifax f.p: A Person of Interest.

Andy has appeared on the big screen in Garage Days, Anacondas, House of Wax, Tracker, Opal Dream and Swerve. On stage, he took lead roles in The Pirates of Penzance, Me & My Girl, the one-man show Lord Buckley, Sweeney Todd and Billy Elliott. Andy also recently released his first solo album, titled If I'd Known I'd Live This Long.
