The CLYAL is participating in the Borderline baseball league again this season. It is imperative that you sign up now so your son can participate in this local travel league. This is a competitive league and will require some travel in the area but will feature both home and away games during the week in the evenings. We plan on 1 team this season based on early feedback. The CLYAL reserves the right to make any changes regarding rosters and scheduling.
Why offer this in Clear Lake? Our League has been lacking numbers over the years due to participation conflicts with local travel teams and competition.
Who do we play? Towns participating in the league in the past on our schedule are: Garner-Hayfield, Forest City and Osage, to name a few.
How many games and at what times? Games are played twice per week starting at 6:00 PM and are 5 inning doubleheaders. Typical amount of games are 12 during the season with an even amount of home and away.
Where are games played? Home games are played at the CLYAL complex and away games will be at towns listed on our schedule when released at the end of April. Directions to fields will also be provided.
When does the league start? After Memorial Day and typically ending after the 4th of July.
What is the cost? Participation fee is $70 and includes a jersey and hat. Players will furnish baseball pants.
